Bovey Tracey Lawn Tennis Club, established 50 years ago at the Recreation Ground in the town, has two well-maintained all-weather outdoor floodlit courts, one covered all-weather floodlit court and a brand new for 2019 clubhouse. The Recreation Ground buzzes with activity – along with tennis are cricket, bowls, football and swimming.

We are a thriving and friendly tennis club encouraging players of all ages and standards, minis to seniors, beginners to experienced players, to play tennis for fun as well as competition.

Completely new to tennis? Get together with Ryan Bourgourd our Club Coach and Level 4 LTA Coach. Ryan works with all ages from 4 years old to adult on an individual and group basis encouraging everyone to reach their full potential.

Tennis a bit rusty?  Ryan works to regain lost skills with the adults in our ‘Back to Tennis’ session on Thursday evenings.

Just want to have fun? Come down to the courts with your family for a game or join us at Club Night sessions on Mondays from 7pm and Thursdays from 8pm and Sundays from 10am.

Are you competitive? We are always looking for new players in the ladies’, mens’ or mixed teams for summer and winter matches.
